The Jenna Stone Memorial Trophy was first presented by the Stone family in 1998 to the winner of the National Simmental Senior Heifer Class at the National Livestock Show in Tullamore. It was presented in memory of Jenna Stone who simply loved showing her Simmental cattle. She described her happiest day as showing her heifer “Milton Danielle” at Tullamore Show in 1995. Over the years the trophy has been presented to 22 females from all over the country and taken pride of place in many of their homes.
The decision has now been made to retire the trophy. This year it shall be presented one last time by returning it to the Stone Family, Milton Lodge, where Jenna and Danielle can be adorned by her family and friends for many more years to come.
We wish to thank the Irish Simmental Cattle Society and the National Livestock Show for allowing us the honour of presenting the trophy and keeping our beloved Jenna’s memory alive in the Simmental world and beyond.
