The far from ideal weather conditions did not deter one of the largest crowds ever from attending. Those present coupled with strong online activity ensured that this was a sale to remember.

On the heifer trade he noted “the very strong export trade for quality Irish Bred Simmental Females reflects the influence that Irish Genetics are having on the increased demand for Simmental bulls especially in Scotland”. Peadar, again on behalf of the Society thanked all at Roscommon Mart for their continued help and assistance with this sale. Also, thanking sale auctioneers Tom Cox & Cian Connolly. Peadar also thanked the DAFF Officers for their continued support for this sale, support that has made the growth of this sale possible.
