The Western Simmental Club held a calf display for its members on the farm of Michael & Breda Oliver on Sunday the 30th of May.

Club Members displayed twenty five pedigree calves from ten of the top AI sires. The aim of the day was to see how different sires were breeding and to promote the use of top quality sires.

Competitions took place for:
Guess the Sire of the Calves - won by Mark Neenan ‘Fearna Simmentals
Guess the Weight of 2 Heifers - won by Seamus Acton ‘Knockaun Simmentals’
